How did I make contact with IT?
I had my first contact with the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) sector during some internships in the late 90s at a Swedish-Swiss technology supplier. As part of a team of the internal IT supplying subsidiary of that company I took part in introducing and supporting workflow-management and archiving solutions regarding commercial processes. Since then I gathered more than 17 years of experience in the IT branch and its ECM sector and dealt in different job positions with lots of challenging requirements during different customer projects in diverse markets and different company sizes.
I studied business information systems (a mixture of economics and information technology) at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim between 2003 and 2005. After some experience in several job positions I earned a masters degree between 2008 – 2009 at the Steinbeis Center of Management and Technology – an institute of the Steinbeis University Berlin.
My current Job
So I spent quite an extensive part of my (professional) life with / in IT.
Currently I’m working as Chief Channel Officer (CCO) at JobRouter – an internationally acting software manufacturer of THE leading enterprise digitalisation platform – the best company with the best colleagues you can think of (eventually the reason I’m working with this company since 2003). I am dedicated to deliver value to our customers and passionate about the change we bring into organisations.
Things I do beside my job
As I am really passionate about technology and new trends I also spend an extensive part of my private live with IT and checking out new trends. I like sharing knowledge, discussing possibilities and give people insights into resulting opportunities by applying the appropriate technologies. This is why I love to give lectures at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University and share my experiences with students.
Apart from that I love to spend my private life together with my wife and family, travelling, meeting up with friends, cooking and relaxing with my favourite music.
I hope you enjoy this blog and I’m happy if you get connected via one of the mentioned social networks.
